In beginning to think about Mother’s Day 2021 last fall, we immediately knew that we wanted to do something fresh and desirable for the sweet moms who have had quite the full year. We traditionally brainstorm ideas over team lunches, and I’m always amazed by the creativity at the table. The Mother’s Day Love Letters Collection is the crown jewel of many brainstorming sessions and scattered ideas. What started out as a simple letter necklace evolved into an opportunity to customize one’s own necklace, and furthermore, to share what matters most to many– precious, coveted words by means of the sweet and beautiful “love letter” that arrives in each package.
I knew that the packaging for this collection needed to feel set apart and quite special, and Emmie Ruth immediately captured that for which I was hoping. Bright, poppy colors welcome sunny spring days; airy florals keep the pattern feeling youthful all the while classic, and the fluttering butterflies add a touch of whimsy. This pattern is present on the love notecard as well as the card describing the collection that comes with each necklace.
Each necklace can be customized with up to 5 mother of pearl letters on a gold-filled chain, accented with freshwater pearls. The Love Letters Collection was designed to keep precious ones close to our hearts by wearing their initials around our necks. It goes without saying that names hold special meaning and significance, and this collection champions just that.
