In three words, describe your wedding style?
Traditional, timeless, sentimental
What provided the most inspiration for your wedding?
I really looked to very traditional weddings for inspiration. I wanted a very timeless wedding that we would look back on for years and love everything we did. I wanted tons of personal touches throughout to make the day meaningful and sentimental and I wanted our guests to have little surprises throughout the entire day within all of the details that we put together. I used Instagram a ton for ideas.
What aspect of wedding planning was most exciting to you?
I LOVE details so thinking of every tiny little thing was the most exciting to me. I loved seeing it all come together. From everything, we got to use our custom duogram on to welcome boxes, wedding programs with custom sketches that matched our save the dates, etc. I had the most fun thinking about every tiny detail and seeing it all come to life.
What made you decide on Hazen for your big day?
I have always loved Hazen. As an SMU Chi O, I always knew about Hazen and looked up to Taylor. I started my own little jewelry line as a fun outlet in college which is really when I started looking up to Taylor. Her drive and commitment were so inspiring. I have lots of Hazen pieces and the timeless elegance of them are really what I was looking for on my wedding day.
